Discover Nusle – A Hidden Prague Gem ✨
Nusle is a Prague district with a rich history. Once covered with vineyards and farmsteads (usedlosti), it underwent major urban development in the 19th and 20th centuries.
On this walk through a lesser-known neighborhood, we will admire beautiful Art Nouveau façades, recall the Prague Uprising during WWII, and learn about the fascinating story behind the construction of the Nusle Bridge.
Along the way, we’ll stop by local cafés and shops that bring new energy and have truly won the hearts of today’s Praguers. Nusle is also home to several striking art murals – together, we’ll try to decode their meaning. ????
Our walk will end at the Folimanka nuclear shelter, a powerful reminder of the Cold War era.
