Discover Hidden Corners of Libeň
Join me on a walk through lesser-known Libeň, a Prague district full of contrasts — from its romantic spots to the industrial charm of the 19th century.
We’ll hike up a hill to see the former “emergency” housing of the First Republic. These modest houses, spared from demolition in the 1950s, have kept their unique appearance and remind us that life in Prague wasn’t always easy.
Our route will lead us through tiny, narrow, and steep streets offering beautiful views, especially dressed in autumn colors.
Along the way, I’ll share stories of Libeň’s remarkable residents, such as writer Bohumil Hrabal and Holocaust survivor Helga Weissová.
